A bit of a scavenger hunt
Recently, by way of Facebook, I stumbled upon a list of stamp clubs in Florida. My hunch is to check them out and see of how they feel about postcards. I’m thinking they might want a postcard enthusiast to visit the club from time to time. I also was curious about how they do vendor events… Actually, I’m really just looking for a nice, quiet place to put out some postcards and share.
The list I was using for my information may not be the most recent. We choose to visit the closest stamp club meeting at the library in Plant City. Upon arriving, the library told us they had not met there in quite some time. She really had to think about how long it had been.
At this point, I had to figure out the origin of the information. I’m looking around and do manage to stumble on the directory again. I still think it has some useful information, but it’s quite dated. With time, I found the address to the creator of the PC Stamp club. Well, what else would a postcard whisperer do than to send a note to the club administrator to find out when and where the club meets now, or if it needs a revival of sorts.
We will all have to wait on the answer, because this pc is going to pc from pc today!
