Confession Time 😶

I have a confession to make!

I’m a tiny bit behind, & I’m a hoarder of postcards 🙃
So, the world is a crazy place that keeps us on our toes. We all know this. It also plays with your head & senses to keep you enticed or distracted from the real purpose of living life. Taking care of family, friends, business & ultimately Enjoying it too!
My postcard collection is growing. It grows & grows & grows. Postcards keep arriving in the mailbox & I enjoy each & every one. They go back out in the mail, with a stamp of love & wish for happiness on its arrival. What I’ve been slacking with is the keeping up with postcards.
- Curious how others are managing their collections?
- Do you have them organized?
- Or are they just in a box somewhere?
- How many do you estimate that you have currently around your personal space?
- Or in close storage?
- What is your solution to keep them under control?
So these are the postcards that arrived and left most recently. Papi found some more Florida linens at the Silvermoon Drive in Swap Meet. He just picks things up that he thinks I will enjoy. These do bring me much happiness when they arrive.
FB had a message from an old childhood friend and as in my usual fashion, a quick love note highlighting the local culture went off in the mail to them in Cali.
We also had a surprise card from GRPC this month from one of the community members. I had not joined the March list last month, so this card was a real surprise from a fellow postcard blogger. She has a lovely shop on Etsy that we did use to make some purchases. We will be adding them soon to the list of references for buying quality art postcards that support small business & creatives personal projects. These are important to continue supporting. I will make a separate post regarding my purchase there & her shop on Etsy. You can check out her blog “The Traveling Postcard”
The Best for last! Had some lovely cards finally get here from the Philippines. Tio Karl gets a BIG SHOUTOUT for thinking of his big sis while out enjoying the wide world. He sent these directly from his vacation. These took a while to arrive, as we saw his card from Sparta a couple of weeks earlier and those trips were reverse the arrival of the postcards. These pop up cards are genuinely my favorites, because they just unexpectedly arrive out of nowhere. I never know when my lovely siblings are going to shower love by postcard. It is ALWAYS appreciated. Thank you so much my loves! 😍
